“How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!”

Psalms 139:17-18 NLT

In this very moment, as I sit on the beach and look at the sand, It’s overwhelming to know that God has more thoughts about me than grains of sand. Why would the creator of all things think so much about me?

The answer is simple… HE LOVES ME.

He loves me with a love that I cannot humanly understand. Today, I am reminded of the one who loves and cares for me.

There were years that I cried every night until my eyes were swollen…he collected EVERY tear.

“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.”

Psalms 56:8 NLT

There were years that I felt alone… he never left me.

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.””

Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT

When I RAN away from him in anger, he chased me down.

““If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.”

When I was left with no identity, he gave me a new one.

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT

My creator, my father, my comforter, my supporter, my counselor, my savior, my Lord, the lover of my soul….I love you! I will live this life for you.
