Counterfeit

In 1 Corinthians chapter 12, Paul encourages us that we should desire the most useful gifts of the spirit. Later, in chapter 14, he states how important each gift is, but that prophecy would strengthen the entire church.

After reading this, I began to become more drawn to biblical prophecy. As I read over Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, something came back to my remembrance. Recently, on my youtube, I talked about an imitator of the Holy Spirit. As a matter if fact, I talked about how satan is always creating a counterfeit of what God has. After reading these biblical prophecies, I am now sure of one thing, he has an imitation of the Trinity! This may not be news to some, but it was a revelation for me. I was able to see the bigger picture.

In the real Holy Trinity there is God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

In satan’s imitation, there is satan (the father of lies), the antichrist (the one who would move his plan in the earth), and the spirit of the antichrist.

“But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.”

“Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.”

My heart is heavy because I can already see the spirit of the antichrist. It’s remarkable in it’s ability to imitate, but it is not the real power (Holy Spirit). There are many suspicions that America is the second beast in Revelation 13. Whether is is or it isn’t, what I read was enough to get my attention…

“And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.”

“For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.”

Did you know that demons could work “miracles???” Well, I didn’t realize they could at first until God allowed me to see it. There are false gospels being taught, yet people are seemingly changing. When you look closely, you’ll realize something is off. Many teachings today just don’t line up with scripture. For the most part they do, but they are mixed with a little bit of a lie.

“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.”

So how do we stand a chance??? Well, for one, we need RELATIONSHIP with God! We need to know his word! We can’t base truth off of our experience, no matter how real it seems! The spirit of the antichrist is here and it manifests as a false prophet. Sometimes people don’t know they are deceived. The heart is wicked and only God can truly know it.

So today, I pray for the Body of Christ. I pray for discernment and a hunger/thirst after God’s word. We perish because of lack of Knowledge. That is lack of knowledge of God and his word. Ask God to search your heart. Call him by name. Spend time with him and he will help you see!
