Today is the last day of 2018. As I reflect over this year and every year that I have lived, I am reminded of God and everything that he is. He is love.
Every day of our lives, God is working on our behalf. Even when we aren’t faithful, he is.
Today, I am thankful that he invites us into relationship with him, which by the way, I am taking full advantage of 😆. I am thankful that he, creator of all things knows us and wants us to know him. As I get to know him, I realize that he has a greater plan for us. With that comes molding and shaping. I am thankful for every trial and every test. Just when I feel I can go no longer, he sends relief. I am thankful for his rebuke and his correction. Just like a good father, he doesn’t leave us high and dry to fend for ourselves, but he showers his love, his grace and his mercy.
No matter what we are going through, he is there to listen. He is there to help. No matter how awfully we have messed up, he still loves us, calls us and sees us as his masterpiece.
I am so thankful today that he sees us through the lens of the blood and for that, I am so very thankful!
